I bought this watch a year back from Seiko outlet and have been using it regularly since then.. I wear my watch all the time, and still it looks brand new.. What is really nice about it is that it can be worn both as a casual watch or as a dressy watch for that perfect evening.. It is very light and the steel bracelet and glass encasing are of high quality. I have a Longines dolcivita watch and this one looks equally dressy in front of it.. Highly recomended. Seiko Men's Le Grand Sport Two-Tone Watch #SKK638

I've been shopping on-line for a nice watch for a couple of months now. I know for sure this watch was one of hundreds I had seen that just did not catch my eye. I saw this watch at a local jeweler in the case and even then I was not overly impressed. But I tried it on and personally I think the watch is really stunning. I bought it there on the spot. Very sophisticated, lightweight, and my wife loves it as well. I happend to later see the watch online and I couldn't believe it was the same watch. It looks so different. Of course reviews for watches are very subjective but my point is - see the watch in person because the picture just does not reveal how nice this watch really is.

The only down side is that in an extremely bright lit room or a really bright sunny day the glare from the watch can make it difficult to read at certain angles. But a tilt of the wrist remedies this situation. I recently ordered the Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay White and I am hoping that this watch also looks better than the picture cause the picture was really really nice.

I tried on, fell in love with, and almost bought this watch in Chinatown, NY and am so glad I held out! They were charging the full price ($495) and I could only get the price down to $250. The $100 difference in price at amazon is worth the wait, though. This piece sets off my white gold/diamond wedding set beautifully and I cannot wait to wear it around town!
