I have been looking for a gold tone stainless steel reliable watch. I wanted one that could look both sporty and dressy depending on what other jewelry I was wearing. This watch fits that perfectly. Not dainty but not huge...nice medium sized watch with a 1 inch wide face. I was also hoping the watch would look more like 14k gold (which it definitely does)and not that darker brassy looking color I have seen in many watches, even very high end expensive ones. I think when it is a darker and brassier looking gold...the watch looks cheap and definitely stands out (in the wrong way) when wearing real gold jewelry. You won't find a watch of this quality with a sapphire crystal and diamond markers for this reasonable price...this Seiko is an excellent buy. The list price of $395 is accurate. Highly recommend!! I was thrilled with the quality of this Seiko Perpetual Calendar watch I bought my husband for Christmas. It was shipped on time with quality packaging to protect the product. I bought this watch for my mother for Christmas and she loves it! The half bangle effect is very nice and there's little diamonds on the watch. The face is cute and marbly. I was choosing between this one and the Seiko that is of the same style but with a black face. I'm glad I got this one. The white face is definitely prettier. The links have to be knocked out by someone who adjusts watches.

Seiko Men's Premier Watch #SKP127

Initial impression, having just received the watch:
This is another instance when one can truly say that "The picture doesn't do (the subject) justice"
This Premier watch is beautiful.
While the hands look black in the pictures, when held at an angle, a deep electric blue sheen is visible. The square "cut-outs" in the hands are glow-in-the-dark markers. The numerals are raised and silver colored as is the Seiko logo. Also, the numerals sit on a thinly grooved track. The watch and band are shinier than pictured.

The face is about 4cm from stem to other side, and about 7mm thick. The band clasp is pretty much as described, "push-button". I will have to have the band resized (smaller); I'm an adult man of average build.
The watch comes in an attractive blue box and is secured around a leather or good vinyl pillow with the Seiko logo on it. Instructions and warranty card are in the box.

I purchased the watch through Amazon's partner, WatchZone. I Googled this watch, and of the other online watch/jewelry stores, Amazon (WatchZone) had the best price. BTW, WatchZone delivered the watch within the estimated time.

Again, this is a first impression review, but with the quality I've seen so far, I don't think my opinion will change.

I really like the watch, the design of the face is nice and easy to see. Unfortunately though, after wearing it for only 3 weeks, the band broke. I understand from reading other reviews that this has happened to others and the band is not covered under the warranty.
